NACAC 2021 – 77th Annual Conference in Seattle, WA<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We, the Cirkled In team, had a great time at NACAC Conference this year. This year, we were fortunate enough for the conference to be held in Seattle, WA. Since the conference was in Cirkled In\u2019s home state, we felt that there was a huge advantage to build connections and get the most out of the event!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cirkled In<\/a> has found value in NACAC\u2019s conference every year. NACAC\u2019s latest assignment of finding a solution for equitable college admissions will be the game changer, not only for the higher education industry but for all the students across the country. That is why we are a fan of this organization as our missions are so well aligned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We believe that education is the most powerful tool to change the world. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Cirkled In is driven by a social mission to close the opportunity gap in both higher education and employment. Exhibiting at the event provided a valuable way to showcase this mission while also connecting with new opportunities and partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to showcasing our outstanding platform, Cirkled In\u2019s very own Reetu Gupta, got the opportunity to connect with NACAC\u2019s CEO, Angel B. Perez! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Angel has done an outstanding job solidifying NACAC\u2019s vision and has made a brilliant push to illustrate diversity, equity, and inclusion in the company. In his keynote speech at the Consortium on High Achievement and Success, Angel said<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“All of my years working with students from all over the globe have taught me that talent is universal, but opportunity is not.”<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Derrick Bell<\/strong> helped manage Cirkled In\u2019s booth along with Lawrence Chon, with occasional visits from Reetu Gupta. Throughout the conference, we represented the Cirkled In platform and connected with hundreds of educators from across the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hundreds of educators including teachers as well as college admission officers visited Cirkled In’s booth. Many labeled this as the \u201ctool of the future\u201d for the next generations to come through their institutions. Some of the other notable quotes we heard were<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the many influential leaders at National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC)<\/strong>, Cirkled In successfully caught the attention of Jeff Selingo<\/strong>. Selingo is an award-winning author and journalist whose work appears in major publications such as The New York Times<\/strong>, The Economist<\/strong>, and Food Network Magazine<\/strong>. He is also known for his 2020 notable book, Who Gets in and Why: A Year Inside College Admissions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
