With the support and dedication of his parents, he was able to explore his passions and grow as a student. According to his counselor at Chapel Hill High School, he is enrolled in both Advanced Placement (AP) and honors courses that are above his grade level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work doesn\u2019t stop inside of the classroom. Kaushik is an avid science Olympiad enthusiast, receiving many laurels from participating in regional engineering competitions. He is pursuing biomedical engineering while also volunteering at his local YMCA. In addition, he serves as the president of his school\u2019s Origami Club and enjoys performing arts. He has choreographed and performed dances at several cultural events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kaushik uses his Cirkled In portfolio to keep track of his activities and to search for colleges that fit his needs.
