Showcasing Your Supplemental Learning on Cirkled In (Part 3 of 10 Video Series)

By Peter M on March 23, 2023 Updated: October 9, 2026

Welcome to the third episode of our ten-part series on creating an impressive profile on Cirkled In! Today, we’re going to talk about supplemental learning, and let me tell you, it’s going to blow your mind.

Supplemental learning is any learning activity that you do outside of the classroom, and it’s a fantastic way to showcase your skills and knowledge to colleges and employers. Whether it’s attending a workshop or webinar, or learning a new skill like coding, every activity counts as supplemental learning.

And the best part is, it’s super easy to add your supplemental learning experiences to your Cirkled In profile! Our platform is designed to help students like you showcase your achievements and skills so that you can stand out from the crowd.

So, what are you waiting for? Let’s get started on adding your supplemental learning experiences to your Cirkled In profile today!

You can watch this less than 5-minute video here or follow the steps listed below.

Cirkled In: Adding Supplemental Learning

So letโ€™s get started. If you do not have an account already, you can create one for free at www.cirkledin.com.

Step 1: Selecting Supplemental Learning:

Let’s jazz up your Cirkled In profile with your awesome supplemental learning! Did you attend a program, learn a new language, or crush it in a math or reading program? Don’t be shy, let the world know! We can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to!

To add your Supplemental Learning, click on the โ€œEdit Profileโ€ option on the left menu of your Cirkledin profile. Then on the main window, youโ€™ll see seven categories, including 2nd category of Supplemental Learning.

Step 2: Adding Supplemental Learning

Alright, buckle up and get ready to fill out the form of your life! This is your chance to showcase your skills and experience in the program that you’ve worked so hard for. Simply click the “add” button in the supplemental learning section and you’ll be taken to a form where you can brag about your latest achievements.

First things first, let’s start by entering the name of your program, selecting the organization you collaborated with, and your state and city. And if you’re currently rocking the program, don’t forget to select that option too!

The best part? The user interface is designed to make your experience seamless and easy to navigate. So go ahead, fill out that form like a boss!

Step 3: Celebrate Your Victories: Adding Awards and Accomplishments to Your Profile!

Now, let’s talk about awards and accomplishments! Did you receive any recognition during your supplemental learning activity? Well, don’t keep that information to yourself!

It’s time to showcase your hard work and talents to colleges and employers. Whether it’s an academic award, a leadership award, or any other form of recognition, be sure to add it to the form.

This is your chance to shine and make a lasting impression, so don’t hold back! Let’s celebrate your achievements and take the next step towards a bright future.

Step 4: Create an Epic Summary!

Are you ready to share your story and show off all that you’ve learned? Then get ready to dive into the summary section!

This is where you get to share your unique narrative about the activity – from the lessons you learned to the friends you made and the life-changing experiences you had. Don’t be afraid to let your personality shine and show off your growth and development as a student.

This is your chance to showcase all that you’ve accomplished and leave a lasting impression on anyone who reads your summary.

Step 5: Let’s Add Some Flair: Attach Links and Pictures!

It’s time to bring your activity to life! Whether it’s a video on YouTube or Vimeo that perfectly captures the essence of your experience or some pictures that showcase the fun you had, it’s time to add some flair to your form. So, don’t hesitate to include links to external sources that relate to your activity.

And if you have any pictures or other attachments that bring your activity to life, go ahead and upload them to the form. This is your chance to add some personality and make a lasting impression on anyone who views your profile.

So, let’s get creative and show off all the amazing aspects of your activity!

Bonus Step: Spread the Word: Share Your Awesome Profile!

Are you ready to show the world who you are and what you’re capable of? Then it’s time to share your amazing profile with everyone!

Don’t be shy, share it directly from Cirkled In or copy the link and add it to any application you’re sending to colleges or employers. This is your chance to stand out from the crowd and showcase your unique skills and experiences.

Let them see your profile on a secure website and get a glimpse of the amazing person that you are – both as a student and professional.

So, what are you waiting for? Let’s spread the word and share your awesome profile with the world!
